Scientists Spot Chronic Pain 'On/Off' Switch

Scientist have identified a protein in nerve cells that can control - even block chronic pain. Protein kinase G responds to injury or inflammation, and this discovery could lead to a unique approach to pain relief. With a loved one that suffers from lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, I can't wait for this product to be available.

Body Habitus = No Scan

More Americans too fat for X-rays, scans, something I've noticed over the last 10-15 years. Seems like more and more calls come in asking about the table weight limit for our CT and MR machines, and people get pretty indignant sometimes when they find out that they just won't fit. Who would have thought that 350lb limit on MR would be too small?
